About Wildwood<\/span><\/h3>

As one of the leading British animal conservation charities in the UK, Wildwood Trust is dedicated to saving Britain\u2019s most threatened wildlife. Wildwood Trust have taken part in many ground-breaking conservation programmes to date, which include, saving the water vole, using wild horses to help restore Kent\u2019s most precious nature reserves, bringing the extinct European beaver back to Britain and returning the hazel dormouse & red squirrel to areas where they have been made extinct.<\/p>

Wildwood Trust opened in 1999 as a centre of excellence for the conservation of British wildlife, and was established as a registered charity in 2002. Wildwood is Kent\u2019s best British wildlife park. Home to over 200 native animals, past and present and set in 40 acres of beautiful ancient woodland where visitors can see bears, wolves, bison, deer, owls, foxes, red squirrels, wild boar, lynx, wild horses, badgers and beavers plus many more. In 2015, Wildwood Trust opened an additional park at Escot in Devon.<\/p>

Our clothing re-purposes the waste at the end of the process and uses it to make new ones at the start. We only use certified organic cotton and print on demand technology powered by renewable energy. Products are designed from the start to be re-manufactured over and over again. The cycle itself is renewable. There is no waste.<\/span><\/p>

Business-as-usual fashion is a global contributor to landfill sites. 100 billion items of clothing are made every year, 3\/5 of the t-shirts bought today will end up in a rubbish heap in 12 months. That's a truckload a second. Slowing fashion down doesn't change the destination. It just means a truckload every two seconds instead of every one.<\/span><\/p>
